Would you like to make your own seaglass pictures but don’t know how to start? I’m now teaching seaglass art workshops at The Trainyard General Store!
These 1 hour workshops are held in the Creative Space at the Trainyard’s Portland Street, Dartmouth location. All you need to bring is yourself; all of the materials needed to create your picture will be provided. Of course, if you have any special pieces of seaglass that you’d like to use, do feel free to bring them along!
During the workshop I’ll guide you through the creation of your picture, from start to finish. No experience is necessary! I’ll also share lots of tips and information about seaglass, such as how to clean it, the best adhesives to use, the origins of different coloured glass, and of course, some good spots to hunt for your own seaglass!
At my next couple of workshops we’ll be making Christmas mini pictures – 3 little pictures that you can display for the holidays or use as cards.
Due to interest, we’ve just added more classes on December 3 from 11:30 am -12:30 pm and December 15 from 7-8 pm. Cost is $30, and you can register by contacting the Trainyard at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling (902) 407-5242
This is a great chance to relax and be creative before the holiday rush! Interested but can’t make this date? Don’t worry, I’ll be holding lots more workshops in the New Year.
